The New Zealand Fringe Festival, Aotearoa’s largest open access arts festival of unbridled creativity and cultural expression presents its largest programme in its 30 year history.
Risky. Innovative. Excellent. For three weeks from the 26th of February — 20th of March, 150+ wild, whimsical and wondrous works will appear in Whanganui-a-Tara, Wellington featuring over 1000 artists from around New Zealand and international artists streaming in from across the globe. With more than 700 live arts presentations from emerging artists, established practitioners and companies, Wellington stages are set to come alive with cutting edge works and ideas spanning 25 genres of art.
In theatres, flats, galleries, cafes, bars, street corners and parks, NZ Fringe is rallying the city, artists and audiences to take what they know and ‘Make It Fringe’ in 2021 and showcase their creative edge, risk and flare in what is set to be the biggest Fringe ever.
