Do you want the experience of working on an event that's visited by 60,000 - 90,000 people every year?
Many of our interns go on to fully paid roles in the wider event industry, such as: City Gallery, Taki Rua, Capital E, and Studio Pacific Architecture.

Event Dates:
Pack in: 17th - 21st February 2020
Preview weekend: 22nd - 23rd February
Opening night: 26th February
Event open: 27th February - 1st March
Pack out: 2nd - 6th March

Production Volunteers
Training: A briefing and training afternoon prior to beginning work
Time: Minimum of 3x 4-5hour shifts across the full event period
The muscle and can do DIY types.
The Performance Arcade has been growing year on year and its all hands on deck once the containers hit the ground. We are after individuals to assist in the setting up and packing down of the Performance Arcade. You’ll get to test skills you have and learn new ones in areas that include - construction, technical production, site specific production.
Skills Required:

Shop and Event Volunteers
Training: A briefing and training afternoon prior to The Performance Arcade Opening
Time: Minimum of 3x 4-5hour shifts across the Preview and two Sessions
What’s better than a retail and customer service job? Selling and customer servicing at an arts event in the sun that's what. The Performance Arcade runs a shop and information kiosk for the wandering public and we need people with a smile and helpful attitude to be there to welcome them in.You will interact with the public inside the shop and throughout The Performance Arcade site helping to answer questions and sell merchandise.

The counters of people and crunchers of numbers.
We mentioned our event was seen by 60,000 - 90,000 and this number wasn’t pulled from thin air. We need a team of skilled individuals who have an interest in numbers. After training with a statistician from the Ministry of Fisheries You will get to spend time sitting in the sun counting people who do interesting (or not so interesting) things.
